Flying drones having become more than just popular toys for the big boys. They actually have some really useful features such as becoming a more affordable option for taking bird’s eye view footage or video. You can now see these beautiful shots on YouTube and other sites made by ordinary people, thanks to those air drones. People no longer have to rent a helicopter or ride a small aircraft to get spectacular aerial shots. All they need is to fit an action camera to a drone and let it fly. And with new models like the Zero Zero Robotics Hover Camera Passport, drones are made more portable and safer to fly.
The Zero Zero Robotics Hover Camera Passport is a new drone that is designed to fold in the middle, just like a book. While other drones has already included folding features as well, this new drone does it even better by not only making it more compact and easy to carry when stored, its propellers are also fully enclosed for safety. Open propellers from the other aerial drones have been a main cause of accidents that resulted in cuts and other injuries. Not so with the Zero Zero Robotics Hover Camera Passport.
This new ultra lightweight quadcopter weighs only 242 grams and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Flight platform. It also comes equipped with a 13MP camera that can shoot videos in 4K resolution. It does not come with its own remote control. Users can instead use an Android or iPhone to control the drone via WiFi. It has a flight time of 10 minutes per full charge and can travel for up to 18mph horizontally. Other features include can automatically follow a face or a body without the need of controls. It can also hover around a chosen subject while filming. The Zero Zero Robotics Hover Camera Passport is now available at their website for $599.
