In the case of Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi, this focus may be in the world of mobile gaming. This is part of the reason why it is introducing the Xiaomi Black Shark in the market.
Gaming Smartphone
The Xiaomi Black Shark is being introduced not just as an ordinary smartphone. It is specifically designed for mobile gaming. While many smartphones already are capable of being used for playing mobile games, the Xiaomi Black Shark is designed to work well with the newer mobile games. While mobile gaming may not yet be that big in the West, it has taken Asia by storm. With more and more Chinese and other Asians playing mobile games, the need for a more powerful smartphone is growing. That’s possibly the main reason why Xiaomi Black Shark was developed.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features high specs like a good gaming mobile phone should. It runs on a Snapdragon 845 processor with an Adreno 630 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, a 6-inch 1080p display, and up to 128GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi Black Shark also comes with a 4,000 mAh battery. This gaming smartphone comes with a dual 12MP and 20MP rear camera setup with a dual-tone LED flash and a 20MP front camera. Since it is designed as a gaming smartphone, the Xiaomi Black Shark also comes with a one-sided analog gamepad attachment. The Xiaomi Black Shark is now available for pre-order and is expected to cost around $560 for the 8GB, 128GB model and around $480 for the 6GB, 64GB model. It is expected to be available by the last week of this month.
