WebOS-Based HP Tablet Leaked

The Internet may have spoiled HP‘s announcement of its new webOS tablet computers, but at least it got the people interested. It the leaked reports are to be believed, the upcoming tablet will feature a set of speakers, front-facing camera, and a micro-USB port.

There will be two models of the soon-to-be-revealed tablet. The first one, codenamed “Topaz,” has a 9-inch screen; while the 7-inch model goes by the name “Opal,” which will have multiple variations like a WiFi-only model, as well as one for both AT&T 3G and Verizon LTE.

Reports say that HP will start production of the new tablets on June 2011. We wonder whether they will become a hit in the market when, expectably, the iPad 2 and a slew of other tablets would have been launched?
