Wacom Clipboard Digitizes Paper Documents In Real Time

6While going digital seems to be the way of the future, full integration still seems so far away. Many industries still rely on the usual paper documents to do and transact business. One of the usual issues why it may be difficult to transition into the new digital world is that it can be a hassle trying to convert between different formats. It only if it becomes more convenient that integration into the digital format may be made quicker. The Wacom Clipboard may be able to do just that with paper documents.

The Wacom Clipboard is a smartpad that can digitize any standard paper document in real time. It allows people to write and sign into paper documents in paper ink and converts it into a digital version. It is especially great in trying to have biometric handwritten signatures captured and attached to its digital version at the same time. It helps make digitizing documents easier as it does this in real time.

The Wacom Clipboard works by keeping transferring handwritten entries on a particular paper document as it is written, including signatures. The clipboard connects to a PC or database via a USB connection. The smartpad can also be connected to mobile device wirelessly via Bluetooth. It also has a barcode scanner that can scan what’s on the paper form and then identify the correct digitized version to call it up. Just as something is being written into the paper form placed on the Wacom Clipboard, a digitized version of it is also being made at the same time. It becomes a convenient way to make a digitized copy of paper documents without the hassle.

The Wacom Clipboard is ideal for businesses that usually require customers to fill up paper forms and needs to have a digitized version of it without the need to scan the original form. The Wacom Clipboard is expected to be available sometime in July. Pricing details of this device have yet to be announced.
