If you think all digital photo frames are the same, come take a look at this one from Vizit. It stands out from other similar gadgets because it connects to AT&T’s network and displays images that are sent through e-mail, MMS, browser upload, and social media websites like Photobucket and Flickr.
The frame consists of a 10.4-inch LED-backlit resistive touchscreen with an 800 x 600 resolution, SD card slot, and a USB port. Set-up is a breeze. Plug it and you are done. Photos can be sent to the frame’s unique e-mail address, as long as the sender’s e-mail address is approved. Users simply associate an e-mail address and mobile phone number with each of their contacts and the images sent to them also display on the photo frame.
Once the frame receives an image, a notification alert is displayed that user can even reply to the sender directly from the frame using some pre-loaded messages like “Thanks!” or “Wish I was there!”
The Vizit can also display a new photo each day from Life.com as well as from other sites through RSS. This digital photo frame will be available this month for US$279.99.
