Versace partners up with ModelLabs Group to come up with Versace Unique, the company’s first luxury touchscreen phone. Hand-assembled in France, the front side of Versace Unique is made from pure ceramic that is painted with handmade lacquers and inlaid with 18K yellow gold finish or 316L grade stainless steel. Meanwhile, the back part is made of handcrafted leather embossed with the brand’s iconic Medusa head. The 3-inch touchscreen display is made from sapphire crystals, making it impossible to scratch.
Hardware-wise, the Versace Unique features a 5-megapixel flash camera, 3G connectivity, client e-mail, media player, Dolby Mobile surround sound, and netbook functionality, all thanks to LG.
Versace Unique will be available in a variety of shade including black and brown. It is set to be available in Versace flagship boutiques as well as on watch and fine jewelry retail stores beginning early June 2010.
