The Trimble Nomad 900L is a unique handheld computer in that it is designed and built for rugged use. Its rugged design is certified to MIL-STD-810F and IP67 standards. It is powered by an 806MHz XScale processor, 128 MB SDRAM, and 512MB to 2GB non-volatile Flash storage. Is also has an integrated GPS receiver, WiFi connectivity as well as a 5 megapixel digital camera. It is quite a capable as a handheld computer that can be used to collect data, upload site photos, as a communications device as well as several other things. The Trimble Nomad 900L is available at the Trimble online store for US$1,899.
