Toshiba has been touting its new tablet PC in the European market which is expected to arrive this spring. But in the same manner, Toshiba also is about to introduce a tablet in the US market which may just be similar to the European version but may have slightly different features.
The Toshiba Tablet coming into the US market features a 10.1 inch capacitive multi-touchscreen display with 1280×800 resolution and capable of displaying video in HD 720p quality. It comes with the NVIDIA Tegra 2 video processor, a 2.0MP front webcam and a 5.0MP rear camera with auto focus. It is run by the latest Android Honeycomb OS and has WiFi capability and can display websites using Flash. The Toshiba Tablet aimed for the US market doesn’t have a proper name yet but is expected to be available sometime this spring. There is no word yet on how much it would cost.
