Panerai, known for its ridiculously expensive wristwatches, offers its first skeletonized model. The (or simply called the PAM00348) features all-ceramic moving parts. And it is not just your ordinary ceramic, but made from zirconium oxide, which is similar to aluminum. All parts are encased in a sapphire caseback window and rest on a titanium rear.
Measuring 48 millimeters in diameter, this wristwatch also comes with a dark-brown case, vintage-looking strap, and a metal turnip-style crown. The face, meanwhile, features a seconds hand, an AM/ PM indicator, and a GMT hand. The backside of the watch shows the power reserve indicator. It is also water-resistant, being able to withstand moisture up to 100 meters underwater.
If you are interested, you better buy them quick because only 30 pieces have been made, each one costing about 109,000 euros (about US$153,000).
