T-Mobile G2X Rolls Out on April 15

T-Mobile has officially announced that the LG G2X smartphone will be hitting their retail points beginning April 15.

The T-Mobile G2X is its first dual-core phone. It has 512MB of RAM, Android 2.2, and 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor for fast mobile Web browsing, smoother game play, and seamless multitasking. The phone also features a 4-inch touch screen with 480 x 800 resolution, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and autofocus, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1080p video recorder with DLNA compatibility, 8GB of memory with microSD slot, stereo Bluetooth, and Adobe Flash support.

It comes pre-installed with Qik video chat, Android Market, Microsoft Exchange e-mail, a full version of Need for Speed SHIFT HD, and a demo version of Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance.

The T-Mobile G2X will be available online on April 15 and in stores on April 20. It will cost US$199.99 with two-year contract and $50 rebate. The phone can also be purchased without contract for only $499.99.
