Sprint Introduces HTC EVO 4G, Its First 4G Superphone

The HTC Supersonic comes to the United States via Sprint and is given a new name:  The HTC EVO 4G.  It has 480 x 800 4.3-inch TFT LCD screen (one of the industry’s largest touchscreen displays), a QSD8650 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 1GB of storage, and 512MB of RAM.  Other specs include an 8-megapixel camera with HD video capture, HDMI-out, mobile hotspot capability, HTC Sense UI, and an 8GB microSD card slot, as well as the benefits of having Sprint’s 4G network.  Users can be able to download music, photos, files, and videos in a matter of seconds instead of minutes.

The HTC EVO 4G can be purchased through all Sprint retail stores and its partners like RadioShack, Best Buy, and Walmart, beginning this summer.  Prices will be revealed at a later date.
