New versions of Sony’s S-series Walkman, known for its keypad that is a few copyright infringements away from being sued by Mickey Mouse, have surfaced in the Japanese market lately. The Sony Walkman S640 and S740 both have 2-inch LCD screens, 720 x 480 TV-out, and come with a pair of premium earbuds. The S740 features a noise cancellation function, while the S640 keeps outside noise from disturbing your listening pleasure.
Both models will become available in a few weeks in prices ranging from ¥16,000 (about $155) to ¥25,000 (about $277), depending on the memory capacity.
