Sony has released recently a new series of laptops to cater to a segment of consumers looking for more portability without the diminishing performance. One of these just released laptops from Sony is the Vaio VGN-Z540 ultraportable. The features of this ultraportable surely would be worth the performance loaded in a lightweight and sleek design.

The Sony Vaio VGN-Z540 makes use of the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor that utilizes Intel’s new Centrino 2 technology. This model is available having up to 2.53 GHz processor configured. The ultraportable’s also features a comfortable 13.1" Led backlit display capable of showing 1366 x 768 resolutions.

It makes use of a Hybrid Graphics System provided with a 128Mb dedicated video RAM. This laptop is part of the Z series that employs a switchable graphics feature.
