It has been announced that the Sony Reader will expand its availability as it set to land in Japan, China, Australia, Italy, and Spain before the year ends. The critically-acclaimed electronic book reader is currently available in eight countries, including the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
Sony intends on establishing relationships with local retailers, publishers, and distributors of each country, as the company plans on providing local content for its Sony Reader.
Meanwhile, Sony also announced that the Sony’s Reader Store has reached the 10 million ebook download mark.
