Sony Ericsson Netbook in the Works?

Sony Ericsson is said to be making its first netbook cited a "reliable" source from Taiwan that claims that Sony Ericsson, the widely-popular mobile phone maker, will follow the path taken by Nokia and develop a netbook of their very own (or a smartbook, depending on whom you heard it from).

Other than that, the source has no other additional information that would further flame the rumors.  It is unclear whether this new netbook will be using Intel Atom, Qualcomm Snapdragon, Nvidia Tegra, or any other processor.  This bit of speculation just came after rumors about Nokia working on its first netbook has surfaced, which is most likely equipped with Intel goods.

As expected, representatives from Sony Ericsson are mum about the speculations.  But since they are silent about it, and without concerting some efforts to deny them, then it could be true, right?
