Seagate Makes First 3TB Desk External Drive

There seems to be no end to the need for more computer storage space. As computer technology advances , so does the need for larger and bigger storage space. That is why hard drives seem to increase its storage size almost continuously to keep pace with current technology.

Seagate has recently introduced the world’s first 3TB external hard drive in the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk External Hard Drive. It features a USB 2.0 connectivity as well as provide privacy protection for your content by using a powerful encryption software. A huge storage space won’t be as useful if file transfer speeds do not improve along with it. That is why the new Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk is also fully upgradable USB 3.0 or FireWall 800 for 10 times faster transfer speeds for larger files like HD movies. This 3TB external hard drive is available at Seagate for US$250.
