Saygus V2 Smartphone

Saygus V2Whenever people today come across a new smartphone model, they usually get a device with features that offer a slight upgrade from similar devices from a year or so ago. Sometimes, the new features may not always be worth the expensive price these new smartphones come with. Most people will understand getting an expensive device when they know that it stands out from the rest in terms of features. That is why the new Saygus V2 Smartphone may just ring a familiar bell for people looking for gadgets that really stand out.

The new Saygus V2 Smartphone is actually a second version of the Saygus VPhone that fell into obscurity after being introduced at CES way back in 2010. It took these many years for the Utah-based company to come up with a follow up to their previous smartphone. And they are not taking the usual road when offering the new smartphone features.

Unlike most smartphones today, you may consider the new Saygus V2 as quite a juiced up smartphone. First of all, it comes with a quad-core 2.5Ghz Snapdragon processor. It also has a whopping 3GB of RAM to go with 64GB of onboard storage. If that is not enough, there are two additional microSD slots to accommodate up to 256GB of external storage.

Even the phones digital cameras are unlike the ones you see from typical smartphones. The Saygus V2 smartphone comes with a 21MP rear-facing camera, outdoing even some of today’s point and shoot digital cameras. Even the front facing camera may be a surprise as it sports a 13MP shooter. The smartphone runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with a 5-inch touch screen display that can show 1080p Full HD resolutions. The display is protected with tough Corning Gorilla Glass 4 that covers edge-to-edge of the phone’s bezel. A 3,100mAh battery ensures that the smartphone comes with sufficient power for its big features.

The Saygus V2 is also designed to be tough. It is also waterproof and can remain submerged in water for up to 3 feet for 30 minutes. The body is also encased with protective Kevlar fiber. Other features include an IR blaster, a built-in Harman Kardon audio technology and speakers, a 60GHz mobile transceiver and a fingerprint scanner. The Saygus V2 Smartphone is currently available for pre-order and is expected to ship out during the first quarter of this year. Pricing of this new and tough smartphone is not yet available.
