SanDisk (yes, the company behind the memory cards used for various gadgets) introduces a new line of portable media players called Sansa Fuze+. The MP3 player features a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen, a capacitive touchpad, a broad range of compatible media formats, a microSDHC memory card slot, recordable FM radio, microphone, and up to 24 hours of audio playback (or 5 hours of video playback).
The Sansa Fuze+ works with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems. It can also be synchronized with Rhapsody, eMusic, and Napster.
The Sansa Fuze+ PMP from SanDisk is available in red, while, blue, black, and purple. Users can choose between 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities, costing US$79, $89, and $119 respectively. These are now available at major retailers and at sandisk.com.
