Samsung has recently announced that it has come up with its fastest external hard drive in the Samsung Story Station 3.0. This new 3.5 inch external hard drive is for users who look for faster transfer speeds as well as more secure data transfers with an eye for sleek design. Its features and design make it quite attractive and handy for the more mobile users.
The Samsung Story Station 3.0 features a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface allowing for faster data transfers. It offers 10 times the transfer speed accommodated by the USB 2.0 interface. This new external hard drive is also backwards compatible for the older USB 2.0 and 1.1 interfaces. The Samsung Story Station 3.0 also comes with energy conservation as well as security and data encryption features. It is set to be made available globally by April and would come in capacities ranging from 1TB to 2TB. No news yet on how much it would cost.
