Samsung recently introduced what probably is the slimmest 8 megapixel camera phone today. Called the Samsung Pixon M8800, this unique camera phone seems to have its 8 megapixel camera as the phone’s main attraction. It is Samsung’s first entry into high end camera phones that can rival most digital cameras in the market today.
The Samsung Pixon M8800 camera phone features a slim 13.8 mm body design, a pretty unique feature for a camera phone in its range. It also has a 3.2 inch full touch screen display and is equipped with HSDPA Quad Band 7.2 Mbps connectivity. And then there is the phone’s 8 megapixel camera.
The Samsung M8800 features a camera equipped with a 16x digital zoom. The camera also has a shake reduction feature to help make better quality pictures while on the go. There is also a dual power LED flash available for taking images in low light environments. The Samsung Pixon also comes with a built-in photo browser as well as an accelerometer that automatically rotates images in the right orientation. The phone also has a video function if the user wishes to take action shots.
