Pics of Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Leaked Ahead of Launch

Samsung is set to unveil its new line of products on June 20 in London and one of its upcoming device has been making the rounds of leaky-pedia. Several tech blogs have posted photos of what is supposed to be the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, a smartphone that looks more like a digital camera. Do not be fooled by the looks of it: you can still make calls, send text messages, and play apps with that camera-ish device.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom sports a 16-megapixel camera sensor with optical zoom, along with physical shutter button and zoom buttons. It also has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 8GB internal storage (expandable to 64GB, thanks to its microSD card slot), Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and A-GPS. The device runs on Samsung’s propriety Touch-Wiz Nature UX user interface slathered over Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. And like an actual camera, the Galaxy S4 Zoom comes with a dedicated tripod mount.

The camera/ smartphone hybrid comes after Samsung brandished the Galaxy S4 Active, a much rugged cousin of the flagship smartphone.

Despite the believable renders, it remains to be seen whether the actual Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom would be unveiled as such. We just have to wait for June 20 to arrive.
