Although there are a few digital cameras out there that have integrated WiFi, Samsung makes sure to raise the bar high enough to make it a category standard. The Samsung CL80 is seen on the company’s official website (although briefly) without a formal press release, but its features have enticed potential owners.
This camera is packed with a 14-megapixel sensor with 7x optical zoom, optical image stabilizer, a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with haptic feedback, a 720p movie mode, microSD card slot, and USB 2.0 connectivity. Meanwhile, its Instant Upload feature lets users upload their images to different social networking sites like Facebook, Flickr, Photobox, and Picasa, without having to connect to a computer (as long as a WiFi hotspot is available). Users can also shoot video clips using the CL80 and upload it on YouTube via WiFi.
It is expected that the Samsung CL80 will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the CES 2010.
