Samsung Announces Galaxy Ace 3 Smartphone

Samsung recently announced the next installment for its Galaxy Ace lineup of smartphones. The current smartphone top dog introduced the Galaxy Ace 3 recently as the next successor to its popular Galaxy family of smartphones. Although there were not that much fireworks during its launch into the smartphone market, it does hold some interesting features that will make it stand out on its own.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone is a device that finds its place somewhere in the mid-range market for smartphones. The strategy of Samsung may have been to provide different smartphone choices for the different market segments. For this mid-range smartphone, Samsung offers both a 3G and an LTE version, depending on the market. The former features a 1.0 GHz Dual Core processor and a 4GB internal memory. The latter will feature a 1.2 GHz processor and an 8GB worth of internal memory. Other than that, features of the two Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone models remain almost the same. Both smartphones come with a 1GB RAM, a 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD touchscreen display and the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. Both smartphone models also come with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a VGA front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 also comes with a number of smart features to help provide added convenience for users. One of the interesting features is the Smart Stay, an innovative function that recognizes whether the user is looking at the phone or not. It automatically dims the display screen to conserve battery power when it detects the user not looking on the screen. It powers down the unit by using Samsung’s advanced facial recognition functionality. Availability of the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is still under wraps, along with its expected pricing.
