Samsung incorporates the electronic ink technology often seen in electronic book readers into one morphing smartphone. The Samsung Alias 2 has a keypad that changes between numbers, letters, and symbols depending on how this dual-hinged phone is opened and even on which program is being used. This "flip-style format," for instance morphs from a standard phone keypad during phone mode into a full QWERTY keyboard.
But beyond the transforming keypad, Samsung Alias 2 also has a bunch of great features that make this phone a worthy purchase: a 2.6-inch QVGA screen for that crisper and clearer viewing, a 2.0 megapixel camera, a multi-format music player, Bluetooth, 16GB microSDHC support, and Mobile Web.
This nifty phone is available in Verizon Wireless on a two-year contract for only US$79.99 after a $50 rebate.
