Samsung has released a list of precautions as it releases its line of 3D TVs for public consumption. Among these warning include the people who are advised to avoid watching 3D TV, such as elderly and pregnant women. The company does not say why, but perhaps it is preempting any health risks that may arise out of watching TV in 3D.
Other people who are not supposed to stay away form 3D TV include those who are tired and sleep deprived, as well as those who are under the influence of alcohol. The latter precaution comes as an irony because LG has installed 3D sets in pubs across United Kingdom.
Samsung also recommends that people should consult a medical specialist if they begin to feel lightheaded, dizzy, nauseated, or disoriented while watching 3D TV.
