With other innovations in the industry, computers are getting smaller and even more powerful. Smartphones nowadays are comparable in terms of performance and power to some of the basic computers today. That is why, desktops are making their way to becoming more portable in order to stay relevant. One example that makes this idea more sensible is the Remix Mini Android PC.

The Remix Mini Android PC may look like any other mini PC’s you see nowadays. But this one may be a bit different. It is touted to be the world’s first true Android PC. It runs on a modified Android Lollipop OS called the Remix OS, which offers functionality, ease of use and beauty for an unforgettable Android experience. As a whole, the Remix Mini Android PC is just an interesting. it sports a 1.2GHz Quad Core Cortex-A53 Allwinner processor. It also comes in either a 1GB RAM, 8GB model or a 2GB RAM, 16GB model. Both models come 4K HDMI support as well as WiFi, Ethernet and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Remix Mini Android PC also comes with an HDMI slot a pair of USB 2.0 slots, a headphone jack and a slot for a microSD card. All in all, it has the features of a PC but using an Android OS. But what makes it even appealing is the price. The Remix Mini Android PC is expected to retail for just $30 for the 1GB version and $50 for the 2GB version. It is currently going through a crowdfunding campaign at Kickstarter. The first batch of Remix Mini Android PC’s is expected to ship around October of this year.
