Prototype of Toshiba Tablet Computer Unveiled

A prototype of Toshiba‘s upcoming “Smart Pad” tablet computer was revealed in Australia by their Managing Director for the country Mark Whittard. Very few details were announced, like having both HDMI and USB connectivity, as well as a digitizer that supports multitouch. The company is also deciding whether to have the tablet run on either Android or Windows 7, or even both.

Whittard assured the press who were present at the event to watch out for the Smart Pad as it hits “before October.”
