Taking the dog out for a walk can sometimes be quite a task for dog owners. But there is a new device that may help provide added benefits the next time you try to bring your pet dog outside. How about using a power generating dog leash to put this common activity to good use?
The power generating dog leash is the result of collaboration between Goddard Technologies GTI and Fido Fashions. This led to the design of a special type of dog leash that can generate power from the energy produced at every pull and retraction on the leash when walking the dog. The dog leash is equipped with three high intensity LED lights that used the power generated to light it up. The same stored power on its built-in lithium ion batteries can also be used to sound an emergency tone when danger is afoot.
The power generating dog collar is a recent invention and its price is not yet available. But its use would truly be something worth checking out.
