Oh how cute! Hori comes up with a Pikachu charger dock for the Nintendo DSi or DSi XL. Simply place the device into its poke-ball slot and let Pikachu take care of the rest. We are not sure how it gets its charging powers. Engadget presumes that Pikachu would generate its own electricity, but it would probably gets its juice from an AC adapter.
Of course, you can try the traditional route of plugging a compatible charger directly on your Nintendo DSi, but where is the fun in that?
The “Pokettomonsutaburakku White” from Hori is now available in Japanese online stores for only 3,981 yen (close to US$50) beginning September 18. Of course it is expensive, because the Japanese can afford it!
