Just after the HTC One Mini was introduced, rumors have been swirling that it is not the end of the HTC One lineup. MobileGeeks, a Germany-based tech blog, reported that a much larger version of HTC’s flagship smartphone is being developed, which goes by the monicker “HTC One Max.”

The giant version of the HTC One will allegedly sport a 6-inch touch screen display with 1080p resolution, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 3200mAh battery, and the user’s choice of 32GB and 64GB of internal memory. And although MobileGeeks said nothing about the HTC One Max’s cmaera, we are very sure that an ultrapixel rear-facing camera will also be included.

Speculations abound on whether the phablet will have some other feature that would make it stand out against its predecessors. Some said there could be some sort of stylus support, which could place the HTC One Max at odds with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3.

The Korean consumer electronics company has dominated the phablet market, thanks to its Note series. HTC attempted to steal Samsung’s thunder with a 7-inch phone-tablet hybrid called Flyer. Unfortunately, sales of the Flyer did not take off, probably because its stylus is sold separately at $80.

The blog added that the HTC One Max is slated to become available for retail on September.
