Philips has released yet another PMP (portable media player), the largest from its GoGear line, in the shape of the GoGear Opus. This media player is still lightweight and thin, thanks to the contemporary miniaturization technology. The big brother of the GoGear Ariaz, the GoGear Opus sports 2.8″ QVGA display, a built-in microphone perfect for voice or radio recording, and a storage capacity of 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB.

The GoGear Opus is touch-sensitive and bundled with high definition and noise-reducing headphones for superior clarity. It boasts a Bluetooth stereo audio output, which allows you to have a maximum music experience wirelessly. The GoGear Opus also supports the BBC iPlayer, which means that you can download videos through the TV replay service.

With the GoGear opus, you can experience video and music anytime, anywhere. This PMP features FullSound technology, bringing an enjoyable CD listening experience to MP3. This media player features stored media playback and includes an FM tuner with RDS technology. It has around 6-hour video or 30-hour music playback. With sleek controls, the GoGear Opus comes in a black with silver body.

No words on availability and pricing. But it is expected to be released somewhere in April, with prices between $126 and $229, depending on storage capacity.
