Panasonic Unveils Smallest DVR with Blu-ray Recorder and HDD

Panasonic has announced its newest and smallest DVR to date. The DIGA DMR-BF200 combines a Blu-ray recorder and external hard disk drive, making it a really potent file storage device. It measures 65 x 210 x 194 millimeters, weighs 2.2 kilograms, and can be placed vertically or horizontally.

The device supports BD-R/ RE discs and contains 320GB of storage space. It also has an HDMI port, an SD card slot, Ethernet, and connectivity to YouTube. Members of Club Panasonic in Japan would be delighted to know that the gadget comes in assorted label designs.

The Panasonic DIGA DMR-BR200 will be available in Japan beginning November 15l for about US$860. We have yet to hear about its international release.
