Palm Pays Developers to Produce Apps

Palm is determined to get their app store populated. First, they enticed developers back in February with juicy promo deals, ending up with over 400 developers splitting up their share of US$1 million. They also offered 50% discount on most of the apps in their catalog, hoping for consumers to gain interest, all while developers get paid in full.

And it doesn’t stop there. Palm is also working on encouraging app developers to submit new applications, this time waiving the $50 fee for every app submitted. They are even going to refund the fees previously paid by developers.

To top it off, another promo is coming this July, with another millions dollars to be shared among developers. All they have to do is to come up with apps using C/C++, which was excluded last time.
