Orange to offer iPhones in United Kingdom

iPhone available in Orange

While the United States would have to be contented with AT&T just to enjoy their iPhone, people across the pond will now have an option to choose their iPhone provider, and that goes for both the 3G and 3Gs varieties.

The Guardian has confirmed that iPhone will also be available in Orange beginning November 10 as O2’s exclusivity with the Apple handset expires a day prior.  However, instead of competing with O2‘s iPhone pricing, Orange has announced that they are offering "added value" plans.  And if two providers are not enough, Vodafone users will soon enjoy the iPhone come early 2010.

The iPhone will be available on independent retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U, aside from the provider’s own shops.
