Onkyo P3 Nettop

Onkyo P3 Nettop Computer

Nettops that run on Atom are so five minutes ago, geeky teenagers would say.  However, if you still prefer optical storage over everything else, then Onkyo P3 is perfect for you.  This ION-based miniature desktop has 1.6GHz Atom 230 as its processor, with 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, and GeForce 9400M G chipset with integrated video card.

What is noticeable about the Onkyo P3 is that its DVD-ROM comes separately, which you clip into the nettop’s side, which also includes four USB 2.0 slots, eSATA, HDMI, and a multi-card reader.

The Onkyo P3 is available in Japan as is (just the desktop with slim keyboard and wireless optical mouse) for 69,000 yen (about US$770), while you can also add a LCD display–as pictured–and purchase the whole set for 89,800 yen ($990).  Pretty expensive, we know.
