Digital picture frames have recently become a popular device used to display digital photos. But most of them may have been limited to doing merely just that. Onkyo has recently come up with a new digital picture frame that allows users to make it as an alternative monitor to watch HD content.
The new Onkyo LPF10M01 Digital Picture Frame comes with an added HDMI input port that will allow users to plug in an HD player, gaming console or even a TV tuner in order to play HD content. This 10.1″ digital photo frame with LED back light also features the usual photo and video features found in most digital photo frames today. It also comes with its own 512 MB internal memory as well as slots for SD, SDHC or Memory Stick Pro media cards. It is currently available in the Japanese market and costs around US$230.
