Nokia Lumia 925 Launched

Beleaguered Finnish company Nokia may be starting to pick up the pieces of its recently troubled status as a premier mobile phone maker. The erstwhile leader in mobile phone barely survived the onslaught brought about by the iPhone and the other Android smartphones into the market. The company fell down a few rungs below in market leadership after being the worldwide leader for so many years prior. Its partnership with Microsoft is giving the company an opportunity to become relevant in the market again with creating smartphones running on Windows Phone 8. One of the recent ones to come out is the Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone.

The Nokia Lumia 925 is a smartphone running on the new Windows Phone 8 OS, just like most of the new Nokia models today. It is also a different interpretation of the popular and award-winning Lumia 920. The Nokia Lumia 925 now features a metal design and will showcase that latest innovation in its PureView camera. It comes with a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA screen with Super Sensitive Touch features for glove and nail usage. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB memoery with 7GB free SkyDrive cloud storage. It also comes equipped with an 8.7MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual LED flash. The new Nokia Lumia 925 will be introduced in Europe as well and in the US and Asia starting from June and onwards. The Lumia 925 is expected to cost around 469 Euros or around US$603, before taxes and subsidies.
