It seems that Nokia is making strides when it comes to its partnership with Microsoft in the use of the Windows Phone 8 platform. Although the beleaguered mobile phone company may have a long way to go to reclaim its lost glory, it certainly is making some headway through its new line of Windows Phone 8 devices. One of the recent devices to come out include the Nokia Lumia 520.

The Nokia Lumia 520 is a stylish looking smartphone features a 1GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor and runs with the Windows Phone 8 OS. It also comes with a 512MB RAM, 8GB storage memory and also provides support for an additional microSD card of up to 64GB. Its display features a 4-inch IPS LCD screen made out of 2D hardened glass with a supersensitive touch for fingernail and glove use.

The Nokia Lumia also comes with a 5MP camera with autofocus and video recording capability in 720p HD quality. It offers talk time for up to 9.6 hours on 3G and standby time of up to 360 hours. Its slim profile at 9.9mm and weight of just 124g makes it quite handy and ideal for those people who prefer their smartphones light.
