There have been rumors about a Nokia phablet and a blog has released a photo of what could be the Nokia Lumia 1520. Windows Phone Central has stated it could not confirm the veracity of its leaked photo, but they strongly suspect that it could be the real Lumia 1520, whhich also goes by the nickname “Bandit.”
The 6-inch device will reportedly sport a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 1080p resolution display,and a polycarbonate body. The Nokia Lumia 1520 will reportedly have a 20-megapixel PureView rear camera; no word yet about the performance of its front camera, if ever there is one. It is also unsurprising if the Nokia Lumia 1520 will have Qi wireless charging capability, just like previous Lumia designs.
There are also rumors that the Nokia Lumia 1520 would be the first of many Windows Phone 8-powered handsets with 1080p resolution.
Windows Phone Central also adds that the mega-sized Nokia Lumia 1520 will be unveiled at around September during a press event in New York. It will be allegedly available to AT&T under the “Bandit” codename. Other carrers will also distribute the Lumia 1520 by Novamber.
