No-Glasses 3D TV Viewing to Debut in CeBIT 2010

3D TV viewing without glasses

Look, Ma! I’m watching 3D without those annoying glasses on!

A Singaporean company is set to take center stage at the upcoming CeBIT computer exhibit as it introduces autostereoscopic 3D TV viewing, which could put similar ventures from Samsung and LG to shame.  Sunny Ocean Studios will unveil a 27-inch display that offers 64 viewing angles, more than the 8 to 9 viewing angle displays shown on CES.

And dig this:  The company says that it will assist in 2D-to-3D image conversion.  Imagine not having to buy another big-screen TV just to accommodate 3D, not to mention ditching those 3D glasses you need to wear.

We will just have to wait and see on March 2 in Hanover, Germany, whether this is for real.
