The P6000 is camera legend Nikon’s answer to its P5000 series. A compact camera with a 3.5 megapixels, it is the newest in its flagships of COOLPIX. Packed with a GPS feature, any user can put geo-tags in every photo taken.
Moreover, it has several program modes to choose from: Auto, Shutter-priority Auto, Aperture-priority Auto and Manual. These allows users to utilize its D-SLR functions. It can also support RAW files and has a built-in Ethernet port which gives it wired LAN capability. This makes its PictureTown connectivity possible.
With the Nikon P6000, the user can adjust images through any of the following: Standard, Neutral, Vivid and Monochrome. It also has a Creative Lighting System and is compatible with any SDHC memory card. This compact camera gizmo is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery as that of the EN-EL5.
The Nikon P6000 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $499.95. It is already available in the markets since September 2008.
