One of the newest ones to come out is the Nikon KeyMission 360 Action Camera.
The Nikon KeyMission 360 Action Camera is Nikon’s first entry into the action camera market. And for this popular imaging and optics company, they are not trying to introduce just a standard action camera for the masses. What they have in the Nikon KeyMission 360 is a wearable action camera that is able to record 360-degree videos in 4K UHD resolution. It features an image sensor and lens combination on two opposite sides of the camera. This setup allows the action camera to create a single realistic HD 360-degree image. And true to most action camera standards, the Nikon KeyMission 360 is designed to be tough and can resist shocks, dust and extreme temperatures. It is also waterproof for up to 30 meters without the need for a separate housing. It also comes with features like electronic vibration reduction, which is enabled when using an application during playback. This helps reduce camera shake when taking videos while moving, producing crisp and sharp videos.
The Nikon KeyMission 360 action camera is currently on exhibit at CES 2016 being held in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is expected to be available sometime this spring. No pricing details have been provided as of yet.
