The Nikon Coolpix AW130 Digital Camera is a rugged and high performance digital camera for people who think that the picture quality of mobile devices just won’t do. This digital camera comes with a 16MP CMOS sensor and NIKKOR lens with 5x optical zoom beginning at 24mm and offers maximum aperture of f/2.8 for capturing in broad expanses. The camera also supports macro photography by allowing capture of objects as close as 1cm to the center of the lens’ surface. The camera is also equipped with the Dynamic Fine Zoom, which enables up to 10x zoom while preserving the resolution.
What makes the new Nikon COOLPIX AW130 more appealing is its toughness. This new digital camera is waterproof for up to a depth of 30 meters. It can also withstand falls of about 2.1 meters and temperatures as low as -10 degrees Celsius. Avid scuba divers can use it at a certain depth without the need for a separate underwater housing. With a feature to also record Full HD video, the Nikon COOLPIX AW130 Digital Camera may still be quite interesting to have as a handy companion when taking photos in even the most challenging conditions.
