Vodafone has stirred up the mobile competition in the United Kingdom as it displays a new selection of handsets from Samsung. These smartphones, namely Samsung Wave and Galaxy S, have Super AMOLED screens. While the Wave features Samsung’s newest Bada OS, the Galaxy S is presented as “the most advanced Android handset” in the UK. It runs on Android 2.1.
Apart from the two phones, Vodafone also unveiled the availability of the new Blackberry Pearl 3G and the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini. Unfortunately, the official online shop has since bogged down as of this writing due to a spike in traffic and interest among users.
