Many people have been waiting for the new MacBook Pro and what new features it is offering that makes it a bit different from its predecessor. True enough, the MacBook Pro model this year has something that other previous MacBooks do not have. The new model comes with the Apple Touch Bar.
The 2016 MacBook Pro’s key feature is the Apple Touch Bar. It is a simple yet useful addition to the way people may use buttons on this laptop. The Apple Touch Bar is a narrow strip of a touchscreen display that can accommodate any button configuration into it. It can provide shortcut buttons for easy access when you need them. They can be configured to any set of buttons or functions that will complement the applications currently being used on the screen. The intuitive features of the Touch Bar allows for the MacBook Pro to display the set of buttons and functions the user may need while using a certain application.
While that may be the unique feature for the new MacBook Pro, the usual specs may also be something worth taking notice. The most basic of MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar comes with a 2.9GHz dual core Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM. Other features include four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, Touch ID sensor and more. The basic 13-inch model with a Touch Bar is now available for pre-order for $1,799 and expected to come out in around a month or so.
