ASUS updates its gaming notebooks with the introduction of the Republic of Gamers G53 (pictured) and G73 that come with the freshly-released NVIDIA GTX 460M graphics engine (known to the rest of us as Fermi), 1.5GB GDDR5 memory, hardware that are compatible to DirectX11, and full support for HD 3D gaming. These notebooks were designed with the astute gamers in mind, providing rear-facing vents and ergonomic keyboard surface.
The difference of the two notebooks is the size. The G73 measures 17 inches, while the G53 has a 15.6-inch screen.
Although the source claims these notebooks are now available on online retailers, we can only see the G73 being sold at prices starting at US$1,699.
