NEC LifeTouch Note Android Netbook

With tablet PC’s getting more interest nowadays, it seems that the netbook market has been quite neglected of late. The popularity of tablets has somehow overshadowed the growth of netbooks. But this doesn’t mean that some manufacturers have entirely given up on them. NEC has recently introduced its new LifeTouch Note Android Netbook to keep the market interesting.

The new NEC LifeTouch Note was actually introduced right after the company also introduced its new LifeTouch Android Tablet. But the new Android netbook can stand quite well on its own with features that give it an edge. The LifeTouch Note features a 7 inch LCD resistive touchscreen display with 800×480 screen resolution. This is-of course aside from the full QWERTY keyboard that tablets may not have the privilege of having.

The NEC LifeTouch Note uses a NVIDIA Tegra 250 1GHz Dual Core CPU with 8GB of internal memory. It also has a 2MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, GPS features and runs on the Android 2.2 OS. The NEC LifeTouch Note Netbook will initially be made available in the Japanese market. It is expected to cost around US$660.
