While we wait for an actual Windows 7-based tablet computer, MSI has been teasing tech geeks the world over as they announce that their WindPad 100 is now past prototype stage.
We are not sure about its updated specs, but the prototype version comes as a 10-inch tablet powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of SSD with Windows 7 Home Premium. It has two USB ports, HDMI, and an integrated webcam. Its latest photo shows the MSI WindPad 100 placed on a dock, which raises speculation of possible expanded connectivity options.
Both the MSI WindPad 100 and its dock are expected to be displayed at the IFA in Berlin about a month from now.
