For those who thought, “I would like to buy a MSI Wind12 U230, but it is too large for me,” your wish has been granted… a bit. MSI has recently released a “lighter” version of the netbook. Although the new MSI Wind12 U230 Light weighs just the same as its predecessor (at 3.3 pounds) and has the same 1.22-inch thickness, its matte LCD screen is now 11.6 inches, or two inches shorter. It also costs US$30 lower than the first.
All of the good features are still there. It has the same 1,366 x 768 resolution, 1.6Hz Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, 2GB of RAM, Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 250GB hard disk drive, and close to four hours of battery life.
The MSI Wind12 U230 Light can be purchased on Amazon for only $399.99.
