Motorola launched their newest series of PDA phones in China – MING A1600, MING A1800, and MOTO A810. The much-awaited MING A1600 and MING A1800 both feature stand-alone and touch-screen GPS for precise turn-by-turn navigation. They also feature a 2.4-inch QVGA touch-screen display, a stereo Bluetooth (A2DP), a 150MB MicroSD memory expandable up to 4GB, and smart Linux OS.

MING A1600 also has 3.2MP auto focus camera with scanning and panorama capabilities. It features a stereo FM radio and a MicroUSB port. It weighs 128g and measures 98.9 x 53.5 x 19.6mm – it is definitely not as compact as other similar devices. It was rumored that MING A1600 has Wi-Fi connectivity, but it was just a rumor. MING A1800 has integrated firewall that enables you to junk SMS and screen incoming calls and 3.0MP auto focus camera. It also has powerful productivity tools such as email, business card reader, Office document reader, as well as Kingsoft translation software. Unfortunately, MING A1800 offers no Wi-Fi support.

MOTO A810 is a stylish and chic entry-level PDA, which features top smart handwriting technology. It also comes with a 2.2-inch touch-screen an FM radio, an integrated video and MP3 player, and a standard 3.5mm jack. It has 2.0MP camera and MicroSD memory expandable to 2GB. MOTO A810 has preloaded dictionary and stock trading applications. However, while it works on EDGE, this device lacks a 3G network support. The highly-anticipated MING A1600, MING A1800, and MOTO A810 expand Motorola’s PDA handset series and are likely to improve the company’s lead in the PDA handset market in China.
